pilot1 · proof of concept
Type a tail number, see the plate.
Testing one thing only: whether routes drawn from real coordinates look like something
a pilot would hang on a wall. Change anything and it redraws.
What is real here and what is not.
Airport coordinates and the routes between them are real, from OurAirports, drawn as great
circles rather than straight lines. The flights are typed in, not fetched. No free source returns an aircraft's history:
OpenSky answers 403 for historical queries, and adsb.lol publishes 1.36 GB tar archives per
day rather than anything you can ask a question of. That is the finding, and it is the one
thing that decides whether the business works.
